Screen Reader Activity 2
Creating Accessible Content
When working on your website, it’s important to keep accessibility in mind. Here are a few helpful reminders:
- Headings must follow a logical order.
- Format lists with the bullet or number tool.
- Links should be descriptive and behave predictably.
- Provide meaningful alternative text for images.
- Minimize use of colors, and ensure high contrast.
- Videos need captioning or a transcript.
- Tables are only for data and need a defined header row.
- Documents must follow all of the above and not be scanned.
