Mertz Middle School

I am so excited for my fifth year in the classroom, and I can honestly say that teaching middle school is my greatest passion. I believe in creating a positive and supportive space where every student feels safe to ask questions, share their ideas, and grow both as a student and as an individual.

When I'm not at school, I love spending time outdoors. You can often find me tending to my little vegetable garden, hiking the local trails with my beagle, Leo, or curled up with a good book and a cup of tea. I also enjoy baking, so don't be surprised if the classroom occasionally smells like fresh cookies!

I am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning and discovery with all of you.
